Nixu Receives a New Significant Framework Agreement from Kela, The Social Insurance Institution of Finland
The four-year framework agreement tendered and concluded by The Social Insurance Institution of Finland, Kela, concerns cybersecurity consulting services.
Through the framework agreement, Kela acquires cybersecurity expert services to support its cybersecurity work and develop its security comprehensively.
Kela's framework agreement is divided into five areas:
- Technical and general security consulting
- Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR)
- Security and IT legal consulting
- Data protection consulting
- Audits and technical inspections related to the legislation of social and public health services
Within these areas, Kela commissions consulting with the help of separate assignments. Based on the tendering, Kela selected Nixu for four of the above areas, for two of which Nixu is the primary supplier. Nixu did not participate in the tendering of the consulting area number 3.
The framework agreement is valid from 1 December 2021 to 1 December 2025, and its total value is expected to be approximately EUR 16 million, divided between the suppliers of the framework agreement.
Through the framework agreement, Kela targets consulting extensively in all areas of cybersecurity, taking into account administrative, physical and technical security. With the help of Nixu expert services, Kela is able to utilize the knowledge of experienced cybersecurity experts and receives up-to-date know-how while taking into account the requirements set by the latest development of the industry and operating environment.
